Let's Celebrate!
Well, it is just a tad early to celebrate but I am ready! I started a Bonnie Blue quilt (Lancaster) in 2006 - lost interest in it and put it aside and went on to lots of other quilts. I would pull it out on occasion and do a bit of work and then shove it aside again. Finally I decided I would finish that quilt before allowing myself to start another and today, folks, I am glad to say I am closing in on the finish. I have to add one more pieced border then the solid outer borders and it can join my "waiting to be quilted" pile. I already know my next project so I am really working on Lancaster to "get'er done". Had to share!

Sometimes it pays to keep working at it a bit at a time - you get closer to finishing it. I'm working on a bunch of UFOs and that's what I do - work on it for a while, put it away, work on it for a while, FINALLY finish it. Then pull out another one to do the same thing with.
