I've taken two classes on Quilt University online. I think they were worth every dollar spent. I learned so much about design and the other, screen printing was very good too. Money well spent. Also there is a large class offering, something for every type, style of quilter.

I purchased the Machine Quilting class taught by wendy. I have found it to be very informative and some good tips. There is also a place to take notes while she is talking--the instruction pauses while you are typing a note. You can also ask her questions and she will give you an answer shortly.

I wish there was a class on using a strait stitch machine on a frame.
Long arm classes just wont do since Im using a 9 in throat machine on a frame. It has alot of limitations.
Quilting classes are fun to watch on the Quilt In A Day website where they film Eleanor Burns teaching classes. It is free by the way but it is not an on line class you take.

I bought three of these at the end of December. Bought the Quilting Quickly on sale for $29.00 then Craftsy sent me an email and I could buy any of the other ones for $19.00. Bought Quilting Quickly II, Machine Quilting and Knitting Lab. Viewed the Quilting Quickly for about 10 minutes. Jenny is so good at teaching. I also viewd the knitting lab for about 15 minutes. (I know how to crochet, but set a goal of learning to knit this year!). I think they are worth the money. You have them for a lifetime and can view them as often as you want. Splurge on yourself. I made so many things for Christmas this year, I felt like splurging on myself for a change. Anyway, the splurge will end up as a handmade gift for someone!
