I have them on both my machines. I have them attached to the left "side" of the machines. They work great and I just love the extra light, since my eyes seem to require more light as I age (arrgghh). I position the flexible arms to wherever I need the light. They don't get in my way at all. I have used then for about a year now.

I have the one in Kathy's link. You can buy extra mounts for it so you can move it from machine to machine. I have a mount on my main machine and one on my backup. My sister has the same, but also put one on her serger. They were about $5, but make it easy to move.

I read somewhere that you can buy a "fishing light" at Walmart or other department stores and that they work fine on your sewing machine. I had forgotten to look for them but may put it on my shopping list to see if I can find one. I think they only cost a few dollars.
