Looking for a "letter from your quilt"
I'm not sure if I got it from here or not, There was a lady who shared a letter from your quilt, it had the care instruction and there was also a letter for a baby or child's quilt. I have lost my copy and would like to get it again. I think her name was Lorry.
thanks,
april

There is a member named Lorry but she has only posted twice in last of 2009. I send myself an email with making a notation of what is in the the subject matter with the address that the post is located so that I can easily find items I have saved. Bookmarks seem to be unreliable.

Dear April, Write your own letter. You are imaginative and you know your quilt better than anyone else. If you need an editor, read your letter out loud to yourself or to someone else. You go, girl. froggyintexas

I agree, just imagine you are the quilt, and tell someone how to take care of you!

I read a "letter from your quilt" written by an Amish woman named Katie. There were things in it like: she put me away for a few months. Now I am listening to all the ladies tying me. It was three pages long, but it was interesting. Like others have said, you need to ask your quilt what it wants to tell you. Only you and your quilt can figure that out.
