Sometime ago........ someone posted a picture of a drawstring sewing bag, needle holder and pincushion. For some reason I can't seem to find that post. Can someone help me find it or maybe you know who it was.

Thanks for looking and for any help you can give me.

the pattern I have is made from two large circles, turned inside out for the outer layer,,,,, two med circles, turned inside out and placed inside the larger circles..... then stitched in "spokes' design, then small circle stitched to the bottom
the drawstring is put inbetween 2 rows of stitching around the outside edge, ending at a buttonhole.

    SEW ‘n GO KIT

Cut two large circles (14 1/2 inch). Fold one in half and mark 3/8” buttonholes on each side, ⅞” from edge of circle. Slice buttonholes open..

Stitch two large circles together with ¼” seam, leaving opening to turn. Turn and press. Stitch casing line on both sides of button hole, first line 3/4” and second at 1½" from outer edge of circle.

Cut two inner circles (10 1/2 inches). Stitch together with ¼” seam leaving an opening to turn. Turn and press. Mark eight even sections but don't sew yet. Divide one in half for scissors/thimbles. Center smaller circle on larger one. Stitch 4 inch circle in center, lightly stuffing with poly fill before stitching completely shut. Stitch each section line from center circle to edge of inner circle.

Use ribbon cord or fabric cord thru casing for drawstring. Need 2 pieces 30". Tie knot in ends. Sections can be used for quilting thread, thimbles, needles, straight and safety pins, etc. Film cases make nice holders for pins & needles. If you want you can also divide one section for a small pair of scissors and thimbles.

Makes a nice sewing kit to take with you in the car. I usually put my reading glasses in the middle and tie the drawstring up tight around them.
