I love men who quilt...my paternal grandfather was a tailor...back in the good ol' days when men's "ready wear" was not available. He was so very good at his job that even after the advent of the "ready's", he had a thriving business until the day he passed on. I have so many fond memories of going to the tailor shop and sitting up on the high tables while he worked...and those huge scissors!! and all that wonderful wool!!
Sorry...I got off topic here...but it spurred some very pleasant memories!! Just had to share.......

I do some quilt block piecing. Whenever my wife and I are vendors at Craft Shows or Quilt Shows, we take along one or two hand crank machines to fiddle with during slack time. I’ve probably made more blocks than she has, since she spends most of her time attending to shoppers. She will name her quilt “Show Quilt” when it’s done, since the only time that we do any of the pieces is at a show.

A lot of men quilt. My husband made a twin sized quilt when he was 10 yrs old. He is 78 and we still have it. My father quilted until he died at 88 yrs. Just make the quilt about something that appeals to you. Like horse, guns, dogs, Places you have been. Have fun doing it thou. Best of luck.
