Hints from "www.aliceinstitches.com"
1) Try machine quilting with denim/jean needle size 80/12. The universal needle is too rounded and tends to produce a crooked stitch when quilting. the denim needle punches nicely through batting in even straight stitches. (interesting)
2) Try to buy unused pizza boxes from a local pizza palor- great flat boxes to store blocks and cut squares and are easy to stack.

Thanks for the tips. I've seen people with the pizza box and thought that I'd never use one that my greasy pizza came it. Never thought about buying it. And I am going to try that needle, I'm willing to try anything to make my quilting look better.
