Morse Sewing Machine
So ... I am kicking myself! I have sent an email to the lady who posted the estate sale on craigslist and am hoping the machine did not sell ...
Does anyone know how much a little Morse would sell for? It was a portable in a round top case - not sure if it worked - almost went back to get it and didn't (that's why I am kicking myself). I think it was green, but I am not sure since it was sitting in a dark hallway.
I am hoping that no one else wanted it today and I can go back and get it tomorrow

I don't think I've ever seen a little Morse. All the ones I have seen were really heavy standard size machines.
To be quite honest, I don't think it's worth a lot of money. Many people don't like the older heavier machines. Although they were the "portable" of the time, they weigh a ton. If you carry one, you never want to rely solely on the carrying handle; always support from below.
They are a solid all-mechanical vintage machine, and tend to be workhorses. However, they are not in great demand, probably because of their weight.

Prism99 - it was heavy - I could barely lift it to move it around to take the cover off. It was just so different from anything I currently own.
It must not have been meant to come to my house - I was not able to call them so I sent an email to them - via craigslist where the sale was advertised - I haven't heard from anyone so assume it must be gone. Oh well ....
