And those dang things aren't cheap! Bless your heart, it must have really killed you to have to buy one AGAIN! Mine was a hundred and sixty bucks at the bernina dealer.
I found out later that ebay has them cheaper. I wonder if they are new ones though, at half the price.

Red - that's how much mine was :( Oh well, I needed it fast and my LQS has the nicest people!! Have to support them to keep them in business.
I still wouldn't mind trying to find out if the broken one can be fixed - I'm sure it is some little part that has to be replaced.
