My,,,,,,How the stash is growing!

I still consider myself a new quilter. I got a sewing machine for Mother's Day and all I want to do is sew and quilt and shop for fabrics. When I started on this board, I had "stash envy". You all told me that a stash will grow quickly and will seem to multiply. Well, you were so right. Thanks to the generous quilters here, some purchases online here and there, and many quilt shop visits--- my, oh, my how it has grown. Why is it that as the stash grows, I want more, more, more? At least I have found a group of people who understand!

And it seems the more you have, the more you want. It is the only addiction I have but it truly is an addiction. I know my LQS is appreciative of this weakness in my personality!

I need to work on my stash...It's been growing on me behind my back and I have several loads of fabric to wash and a pile of fabric that has already been washed and needs to be folded and put on my shelves. I didn't think I was getting that much....just a little here and there...Oh well, it's a nice problem to have

After a 10 year layoff and having given away all my former stash, I started quilting and collecting fabric again in February. I don't have a sewing room yet so have boxes of fabric all over. When I go to the city, I have to force myself to stay away from the fabric stores. I already have enough fabric for a dozen quilts.
And then people on here keep selling such beautiful fabrics at great prices that I can't resist. :)
