My Take on the Ten Minute Tiles Quilt
#1
I'd like to share my take on the "Ten Minute Tiles" quilt pattern by Mary Lou Hallenbeck of H. D.Designs. This pattern was originally designed with gradient shaded fabrics in mind. The four rectangles are sewn together and then the square is appliqued when the rectangles meet. I really like how my fabrics worked in this quilt. Unfortunantly, it isn't quilted yet!
I've taken three of Mary Lou's classes and they have been fun and she shares so many tricks, like using Roxanne's Glue to glue down the square (edges are turned under first). It holds the square in place while you applique it.
