How lucky you are, i have been begging for ties for 4 years now trying to get enough for a quilt, i think i'm up to about 60...
anyway i take the ties apart, remove the stablizer inside and wash them. then you can either cut them up into strips and do any strip type (log-cabin,ect) or my plan is to do a dresden plate radiating out from a center circle. the main thing is just have fun with them.
