Need free pattern for Christmas tree skirt--got one?
I have the same Christmas tree skirt that I made in 1976. It's tomato red and bright lemon yellow and grass green calico. Time for a change. Does anyone have a link to good patterns for tree skirts?

Here is one using the log cabin. They have a few others on this site. I made a crocheted one years ago and my mom still uses it and is about the same age as yours. I am trying to get to make another one for my self. Kids are getting older and want their own and taking what I have on hand. Going to embroidery choo choo train designs on a wedge and then sew them together. No pattern yet, but going to work on it. The log cabin looks nice. http://bomquilts.com/BOMQtree_skirt.html. Also, I know Jinny Beyer sometimes offers hers for free on occassion. Subscribe to her newsletter. I bet she will be coming out with it soon.

This tutorial was posted on the board, and looks really cute, and fairly easy, but you need the 9 or 10 degree ruler. Good luck!
(sorry, can't seem to make it it a hyperlink)
