Need help finding manual for singer sewing machine
My friend and I were quilting to day at the local senior center and her machine sounds "clunky" very noisy.
Everyone agreed she should oil it which she said she has never done. She is just starting to quilt and it is an old machine she said. Some folks were giving her "advice" where to put oil. I had her use my machine and I said I would see if I could find a manual. Well it is not so easy!!
All the machine says on it is Singer Electronic Control then on the side I did find 3314C but noting about a model so I don't know if that is it or not, I am not sure where to start. This isn't rally "quilting" related so I hope no one gets made at me for putting this here. Can anyone help me help here???

I don't know anything about this model Singer machine.
I can tell you that on the older models of Singers I own, I usually use Sewing Machine Oil
on metal that rotates against metal.
There's a special grease for some Singer gears.
The two cannot be used interchangeably.
Don't we have an old Singer thread here....maybe you should ask there.
Good luck

No there isn't one in the area About 165 miles and I asked them and they said "$65.00 for us to look at the machine" But I did get the manual and passed it on to her!! This board is the best!!
