I am trying to write on fabric. I have a Zig textile marker. Do I need to do the wax paper behind it ? Also When I was at the store the box said for best results heat set. What exactly is heat set? Sorry if these are silly questions but I have never done this before and want to get it right. Thanks
Sharon

Sharon, you've gotten excellent advice about heat setting - just a hot, dry iron for a few seconds.
One thing - you'll want to use freezer paper and not wax paper. Wax paper will make a big mess & get all over your iron. With the freezer paper, put the shiny side to the fabric and it has just enough stuff to make it stick without making the mess.

Has anyone made this quilt pattern from Quilt in a Day series. "Burgoyne Surrounded" I would like to make it in a Queen size. Is it real difficult???
I have 3 grandchildren and I am making Quilts to be given to them on their Wedding Day. Two are finished and packed away.
Also, you ladies chose such beautiful colors for your Quilts with so much life. Please can you give me any ideas?
Thanks
