Missouri Star quilt company has a tut on Double Slice Layer quilt. I am getting ready to do that one but because all your fabric is pastel it might not show up. I like looking through their list of how to do tutorials for new ideas.

Oooh, I like this idea... put them in rows according to color and possibly make simple strips at a diagonal, or 4 diagonals that meet in the center. Or even a single log cabin that works around, blending the colors inwards.

I saw a quilt on a TV show where the designer used pale batiks.She used them as in a rainbow.Soft yellow to green to blue etc She did this in any quilt that needed a off white or neutral fabric as the main fabric.Her quilts ranged from period to modern .She said what was neat about it was you never had to worry about running out of back ground fabric.

Pale Batiks
I have done this with batiks - I used the dark siblings for each pale - it really turns out nice. The colors really complimented each other. Try placing some darks in with your pales to see if you like the way they work together. Let us see what you come up with....
