Need ideas for quilting
Has anyone made one of these trees? Pattern is by Cindi Edgerton. I can't figure out how to quilt this. Should it have minimal quilting or lots of quilting? It is supposed to be decorated with buttons and ornaments. I can't find any pictures of others made to see what was done. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What size is it? That would make a lot of difference in how I quilted it. I'm thinking I would start at the points of the tree and make 2 or 3 lines going up to the end of that triangle. I know that is probably as clear as mud...but that is the only way I know to describe it. Then I would do small stippling around the tree.

Very cute. I have never seen it before but I would straight line echo quilt the white background in narrow lines 1/4" or 1/2" apart. Leave the tree more open so it stands out more especially if it will be embellished with beads, buttons, metallic garland etc.

Sew cute! I would SITD around the tree first and then stipple the white to make the tree look puffy. If you are sewing ornaments on the tree, that should hold the green in place or you could stitch in the sections to mimic branches.
