I purchased the cutest little Child's Singer on eBay. There was no manual with it but I figure "I" could guess how to work it. NOT...well I can thread it but I don't know how to get into the bobbin case. There seems to be a plate right under the pressure foot but I can't get it to move.
It has the tinest foot pedal and runs off batteries. I bought her for my DGD but wanted to "play" with her myself. I can't wait until my DGD sees her!! :)
Any info is appreciated. There is no model # on the machine...Just the Singer word. It is pink and light beige.
Thanks!

you can visit the singer web site- and request a manual for it. there is a little book to go with that machine....was it used?
my granddaughter had one a few years ago- it did not last long- i bought her an $89 brother from wallyworld very soon after that little singer (she was 4 at the time)

Here is the eBay listing. I never thought about it just doing the chain stich but makes sense because the needle is protected from little fingers.
I'll check out the manual!!
