I wonder if anyone else has tried the Desk Needle Threader by Clover. I got one and for me it is wonderful. Hand quilting requires a lot of threading and because they don't make eye glasses like they use to, I wanted to give it a try.
I threaded 3 packages of needles on my spool and it was a snap.
If anyone else has trouble with this, you may want to give the threader a try.

At a workshop I attended last yr one of the ladies had just purchased one of these Clover Desk Needle Threaders. I did chuckle to myself as she didn't have a clue how to use it. I think there were pics on the actual unit showing you how to use it.
Well my point is this little piece of equipment is an absolute god send - mind I still haven't got around to buying one for myself. Maybe once I get into the needleturn applique scene on a more regular basis I will invest in one. They are definately worth every penny I have to say.

I have one and love, love , love it. It does not work with size 12 needles, nor does it work for Roxannes needles, but for most of my size 11s it works great. I have seen a similar threader made by Bohin that has two slots for different types of needles that may work for the tiny needles.

I used to be able to thread any needle, Then my children grew up and suddenly those needle holes got smaller!
My solution .....
Dritz looped needle holders!
At first, I got them at Hancocks ... later I have found them in other places.
Happy Quilting, my sisters (and quilting~Brothers)...
