I recently got a Grace Pinnacle frame to use with my Juki TL98Q machine. The throat depth is approx. 9". What is the easiest pattern to start off with, since it is not a true "long arm" and doesn't have the depth. I welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

I got the same set up a couple of months ago. The first thing I did was a practice quilt- two sheets one for back and one for front, and some batting. And then I just played. I am not so good at feather, (need practice) but i can do meandering and spirals like nobody's business.
I did not buy the laser light or pantograms, because I thought I would prefer to free motion quilt, and I have not regretted that.
The one thing I did buy was the leaders from Kathy's quilt, and they are great! I don't take the leaders off when I finish a quilt, since I am mostly on the queen size option anyway. It's a great combo for me, and I love love love love the Juki. Just remember that she drinks oil like a trucker drinks Dr. Pepper and you'll be fine.
