New (Old) Sewing Machine - looking for manual

I just acquired a Sears Kenmore 148.531. No manual. In searching the net, I can't find anyone who has one, though I have emailed two companies to request one just in case they have one and haven't posted it on their websites.
Does anyone have a 148? Do you think the manual for the 158 will be close enough to show me the basics for using this machine? (I have a Featherweight and only know how to use IT)

I found one place that says it has some Kenmore manuals and some of them are down loadable in PDF. Good luck

Thanks for the offer of the manual - I just downloaded it from the website suggested above. As for the cams for different stitches, I don't know; I'll have to check. It's closed up in its cabinet in the kitchen underneath some other stuff. It if has them, and I can't figure it out, I might bug you in the future!
