Ironing clothes ... ick!
Pressing quilt squares is instant gratification in seeing the pieces sitting perfect. And a step to an end product we treasure!

You love quilting because you have a natural creative talent that you can't ignore, and it outweighs your hatred of ironing and math! Making quilts is a creative thing and satisfies your natural instincts to create, in spite of that gosh awful math and ironing!

I, like you hate ironing and math but love quilting. I think it is because for me it is a release and artistic outlet. I'm not overly artistic but can this and appreciate how pretty a quilt top can look when all those little pieces of fabric are joined together. The math an the ironing just make it look right.
