Off set or crocked center square
I'm trying to remember the name of the block or quilt where the center square isn't set in the center but is turned and then the rest of the block is even around it. Sry if not explaining it very well. Hoping you all can help. (just to clarify I'm not taking about a square on point)
Thanks in advance.

Twist n Turn was a book on this method. i did one in a class.
here is one in Modabakeshop-Twist something. darn it, forgot already. anyway, scroll down to the boy holding the quilt with brights and black. the blks are on Tilt.

quilterscache.com also has a tilt block i'm sure. the one i showed had several pieces added but it's not necessary. you can add rectangle cuts to your square and then just use a ruler to tilt them by making sure you leave 1/4 inch and trim, then turn the ruler on others and "tilt" the other way. the tilt adds another design when blks put together. it's fun.
