Old cutting mats
#2
I cut an old mat into a circle to fit the top of a lazy susan and glued it in place. It might not be gorgeous, but I can turn fabic to cut it and what's left of the worn-out gridmarks still come in handy! If any part of the mat is still in OK shape you could cut it down to a mini size and write in new numbers with a permanent marker.

I just joined and saw this...I don't usually post...but I have just done this, so I thought I'd tell you...I had a wood lazy suzan turntable from the thrift shop I had bought years ago...It is quite large and solid wood and flat on the top...so I cut up my old cutting mat and glued it on the top and now I have a rotating cutting mat...cost me $1.00...buying one would cost LOTS more...Hope this helps.
