I went to look at 2 machines yesterday. I bought them for $25. Didn't want to leave them .One is a machine from 1893 with a little wheel with a hand crank attached. Anyone have info about this machine? I am new at machine collecting but she is so darn cute. She doesn't have a cover just a base. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Sue

The Singer website gives a year of 1894, but doesn't give a model number...
A picture would give Billy something to work with as to the model...I would guess from the age that it's a model 12...?
(Billy's MUCH better at this stuff than I am! :) )

Thanks. I will try to take a pic latter on today. I have a very busy schedule today. We are driving up to Conroe , Tx. to look at another machine. I love that my husband likes to drive his new car and doesn't care about the destination. I think he actually likes old Machines for thier simplicity.
