Olfa Endurance Rotary Blades

at that price it would have to last 10 times longer in order to be a value.

I have a couple of them and I really like them. I think they last a lot longer than the regular blades. I use them on an Olfa mat and I have a cutter that has the retractable blade. I'm a believer!

My first OLFA endurance lasted incredibly long. I was so impressed. I decided that is all I would buy from now on. The next blade was exactly like the basic blade and did not last nearly as long as the endurance blade. I find that odd. Since I keep a notebook of items I sew, I was able to see there was definitely a difference. I sent the blade back to OLFA with a letter explaining the details. We will see what happens.

I found them on amazon for half the price. Still pricey for me.

My experience was like StillSewN, the first one was awesome, the next one was just like the standard. I think I fell for the hype. They were much less expensive on Amazon, although Amazon also has many budget 5 and 10 pack generics that will cost less and last longer.

I haven't used them. I found that I really like the Sewology ones. They are cheap, but seem to last very well. I get the 5-pack because they come in individual plastic 'cases' so you can't (or don't) accidentally insert two in the cutter handle thingy. I do stuff like that... Silly of me!!
