OMG I did it. I bought a featherweight!!

I'll post pics in a little bit. I went to a shop today and was looking at the machines, just out of curiosity. Then I saw it-a little black featherweight. She had $175 on it (it's a little dinged up, as you'll soon see) so I asked if she was firm on that price. She said she would sell it for $150. I offered $125 and she finally agreed on $135. Is that good? I guess it's hard to tell without pics. She had only put it out a few days ago. It came with a black case and some extra feet and other stuff and there's this buttonhole attachment thing with it. I don't think it belongs with it though. No manual but I found that online easily enough. Usually after a purchase like this I have deep regret, at least for a little while. But this time I didn't! I hope I didn't get hosed. lol

Sounds like a great deal, I paid $300 for mine, it is so much fun to use. If you don't think you got a good deal, check out the FW prices on ebay, unless the scrolling is a total wreck, you have done very well

I love my featherweight.Just got her back from a cleaning and repair and was just there at the right time when my repair lady (yes a great one)offered a case for it that she had in her garage. Musty smell and all.....Now she is complete.Take care of it.and don't use a walking foot with it.Throws it out of line.....
