pfaff repair problem
#1
I have a Pfaff 7510 bought in 97. The computer board went out 2 years ago and after many problems, 2 months and $200 I finally got it back. Now the same thing has happened and am told it will cost $300 and who knows how long. Has anyone else had problems. We want to contact the company but cannot find a number. We have e-mailed but have not gotten a response. Even the dealer said the board should not go out in 2 years. any help would be appreciated.

Biggest problem with the older pfaff's, (I have a 7570) is that Pfaff no longer supports these machines. Somewhere around 2000, Pfaff was bought out by another company who destroyed all the old replacement parts. Motherboards are getting harder and harder to find as you have to find them thru other sources since you can't get them from Pfaff. Try ebay. If (when) my pfaff goes out, I would probaby buy a Babylock Quest Plus as it is darn close to the original pfaffs. Good luck!
