I think someone on this board had another definition for PhD other than Projects Half Done. I thought it was great, but I didn't write it done. Can someone please tell me what it was?

Maybe "Piled Higher and Deeper"???
We use to joke in college that we would go to school and get:
a "BS" = Bull____
then a "MS" = More____
and then a PhD = "piled higher and deeper"
LOL :D

My SIL and her husband are both PhD's in English. According to them PhD stands for Pretty High Debt.
