Pin magnet
#1
My husband uses one of these in his shop, so I thought it would be quite useful in my sewing room. We bought it at Wally World for around 5 bucks, I keep it between my machines. No more pins in the carpet (my feet are grateful.I hate wearing shoes.lol) I suppose those with computerized machines would have to be careful the magnet is strong. And the second photo is a cart we bought to organize all my cut squares from 3" to 12".

I find all kinds of things to use in my sewing room, I have a small tackle boxes I use to store buttons, bobbins and I even have one of these (red thing) to store pins sewing machine needles, ribbon and other goodies in. And I used an old desk hutch top for a shelf unit to store fat quarters and my current projects.

I work in a quilt shop & she has used the big one for years on her quilting machines & I have used the little one for my pins even before I started at the quilt shop, plus at WalMart for about $5 they have a little pop up trash can that works great from taking to classes, set & sews I have been married to a man with nuts & bolts for 46 years so we have traded a lot of things like this, but I got more of his then he did of mine
