Prewound Bobbins for Brother Pe770
#1
If you have a Brother PE770, could you tell me what prewound bobbins work in it, please. I have sold my ULT2003 which used the size L bobbins, and will give them to the buyer unless I will be able to use them in the 770 when I get it.
Thanks for any info.

Brother machines use the Singer class 66 size bobbins, I believe. I have both Brother and Singer 66 machines and the bobbins are identical in size and shape.
I tried the Superior size L prewounds in my Brother, but they don't fit very well, and I didn't want a problem.

My ULT takes the size L, but my Innovis takes the Class A/15. I think the 770 also takes the Class 15, but I would like to find out for sure instead of taking a bunch of bobbins that won't fit when I get the machine. I have a gross of both sizes.

Any dealer can tell you which brand of pre-wound will work with your particular model. I have a Brother 700II and it uses the Class 15 bobbin. I use Janome and Nebs brands in my machine and they work great.
And yes, it is hard to find the starting thread. I guess it's because they are wound so tight. I just run my fingernail around the bobbin until I find it.
