question about making a t-shirt quilt

Yup, a very lightweight fusible. Just be careful with your placement so the t-shirt stretches one direction, and the fusible the other. Makes it much easier to sew. I also found it easier to cut the block larger than needed, apply the fusible, then trim to size. That way you are sure it goes all the way to the edge and doesn't stick to your ironing board.

I am making a t-shirt quilt, too. Quilters on here had told me lightweight fusible and when I went to Hancock's they had said lightweight fusible as well.
Just a warning though: you're going to end up with a lot of extra scrap because of the width of the interfacing is going to be a lot bigger than your shirts (unless your shirts are big enough to take up that width or are small enough to fit two).
