question regarding the ten minute table runners!
Good afternoon all! Been a long time since I have been on here (breast cancer was a huge bump in my road of life - but overcame that hurdle!) finally after over two years I have got the quilting/sewing itch back!!!! I made some ten minute table runners to sell at a craft show - two questions? 1 - when putting buttons on them to jazz them up a bit, is it better to sew them on OR glue them on ( I know a horrible question). 2- what is the going rate on them - I don't want to give them away but I tried (note I said tried!) to use my stash on hand. Thanks in advance for your input!

My thought exactly! I sell on EBay and Etsy, and see the folks who sell really cheaply...they sell a lot of stuff, but it can only barely pay for the fabric (if that). Makes it hard for others to sell at a price to actually make a profit!

My suggestions is to sew the buttons on. I would be afraid that if you glued them on they may come off in time. Have no idea of "going rate" but just don't short change yourself-remember about labor and cost of fabrics-I am sure you would like to make a little profit.

I've made and sold quite a few of those table runners and I sew on the buttons or whaterrim I use, sometimes bows. I sell them for $10.00 only because I used fabric I paid less than that for they do take longer than ten minutes at least for me, probably
