Questions for Longarm quilting! Please help!

I have the cord issue, too....but I went with the old stand by -- DUCT tape! I tape it UP so it wouldn't catch.
As for lighting.....since I stand back away from the needle, I don't think a head lamp would work. I have a light bolted to my machine that works fine. (came that way). One thought though....I buy reading glasses at the Dollar store for close up work (doc says I don't "need" glasses!!!) and that helps me a lot. when I try to do REALLY close up work (like finding the bobbin thread, I have a pair that's twice the strength.....it REALLY helps. I have to take them off immediately though -- LOL they make me dizzy if I look far off.....

As for the light, you'll want more than just a little spot light.
I'm in a former church and lighting is always an issue. The wood on the high ceiling just sucks up whatever light there is. I'm looking at having my husband and son work up some kind of overhead light bar for the machine.

I have Fusion and I think the frame is 14'.

This is where it gets caught when the machine is up towards the belly bar.

Thanks for the great ideas. I have to get a new pair of cheater glasses, they didn't survive when I sat on them. Not smart! I have to learn to pick things up.
I will google the bendable light and see what I find.
