Quick & Easy Christmas gifts
#1
I know this has been discussed but I'm doing it again!! 8-)
What are some other quick and easy christmas gifts that everyone is making or has made in the past. I want to make a few things but the only things I can think of are potholders and place mats. I've thought about fabric bowls (?) but am unsure of how to make them, and I haven't found any good tutorials for them.
What are you making, and can you post pics of gifts? I need Inspiration!!!

Journals is one of the things I am working on,tea bag wallets for little gifts, scrappy or not scrappy neck scarves is another thing on my list, I plan to make them from stash ,front with cotton and back with flanel. Table runners, placemats,Fabric storage boxes ,hmmm I am sure others will think of some more, oh coffee cozies, I made them last year.

I have a gift exchange between the women in our family that are from new moms to great grandmas. There are now 12 in this exchange. Some I don't really know well enough to know their likes and dislikes. This year I think I will make the mug rugs and buy a mug to match. If I make them all out of scraps it will be very inexpensive except for the cost of the mug. I created one last night and it took no time at all. When I get the binding on sometime today I will post a pic.

I hate cold wind blowing around my neck, so made myself a fleece scarf with fringed ends.
Scarves from stores are way too narrow to use.Think they are more for looks than to keep the cold out.
All I did was buy a yd at 1/2 price from Joanns, cut to size, seamed those 2 pieces together & fringed the edges.Don't think it took an hr all told.A gift to me...I'm ready for winter winds !
