How do you guys relax your batting after it is all rolled up in a bag? I took a chance and purchased a baby quilt size of fusible batting yesterday from JoAnn's for 40 percent off.
I asked one of the ladies about it, and she said she knew a couple people that liked using it. So I've brought it home and I laid it out and it is crunched and crinkled, I'm hoping it relaxes, but...meh.

What kind of batting? Cotton? Poly? If cotton, I spritz it with water and put it in the dryer on medium for 10-15 minutes. Not sure if that works for poly, I never use it.
Sorry, I just noticed you said fusible. I would think you would just leave it out for a bit.

i don't worry about it- i take it out and allow it to (breath) while doing other preparation- then i just use it- when you press it to the backing the wrinkles are going to go away. when i use a batt that is not fusable i have never had one cause a problem while quilting due to the fold creases- they just go away as you go along.
