Quilt design on finished quilt
I'm making this quilt and wondering what kind of quilting would look good.
The pattern calls for QAYG with additional quilting as desired. I'm thinking about quilting it after it's all sewing together and sandwiched.
It's by Block Party Designs called Comfort of Psalms - The Beatitudes
Thanks for your suggestions.

You have a lovely top that will be beautiful when it is complete. I see curves, s shape curves, semi circles and/ or feathers in the borders. Meandering with thread that will blend in with white background will complement the writing in the blocks with verses and not disrupt the eye when reading. In each of the four corners you could quilt a cross in a rich, dark color of thread that matches one of the darker colors in the quilt. A similiar style cross, or identical as used in the corners could be enlarged to fit the other three large centers of the stars.

You could stitch in the ditch or cross hatch (stitch diagonally lines) it. I am assuming you are not quilting on a longarm. If you have stencils, see what would work in the center of the large star blocks. I have always preferred the look of hand quilting but using my Bernina.

This pattern calls for the quilted QAYG but I would prefer to quilt it the regular way by quilting it in a sandwich etc. Is that ok to do, or are quilt as you go quilts designed to be quilted only that way?
