Quilt Shop Recommendations, Western North Carolina
Hi everyone! I'll be spending a few days in the Maggie Valley area in North Carolina next week. Any quilt shop recommendations, or other must see & do ideas? Thanks!

Check out:
Quilters Quarters
1510 Dellwood Rd
Waynesville, NC. 28786
Phone: 828-926-0803
They're just outside Maggie Valley towards Waynesville. Great selection and fabulous staff.
If you get over to Asheville, check out:
Asheville Cotton Co
• 1378 Hendersonville Rd. Suite B
• Asheville, NC 28803
• (828) 277- 4100
Both have web pages (Quilters Quarters is http://www.quiltersquartersnc.com/ and ACC is http://www.ashevillecottonco.com/)
Take a tour of Lake Junaluska between Maggie Valley and Waynesville. It's beautiful and so peaceful, although there may be a minimal entrance fee during the summer months as it is a United Methodist Church conference and retreat center.

If you do get over to Asheville, there are two more fun/funky shops. Tipsy Star quilts is downtown at 1 Battle Square and Kitch Fabrics is at 742 Haywood Rd in West Asheville. Park at Kitsch behind the store--it's an old industrial neighborhood.
