Quilt Shops near Stuart Florida
I am babysitting my grandchildren this week while their parents are on a trip. I have searched online but cannot find one quilt shop here. Anyone know of any?

The JamPatch in Stuart closed last year (or two years ago). Can't remember. It was a nice shop.
The closest shop would probably be Quilters Choice in Jupiter (about 20 minutes south of Stuart). No website but they do have a Facebook page.

Big Bernina sellers, but not a huge fabric selection. I think they're closed on Mondays.
There is also a shop in West Palm Beach, My Quilt Shoppe (NE corner of Okeechobee and Jog Rd).http://myquiltshoppefl.com/. It's okay.
If you want to travel farther south, there is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Stitch...02182346550672 in Boca Raton
and http://sunshinesewing.com/ in Margate.
Sunshine is much bigger but StitchCraft also has a great selection.
You could easily hit both in one trip.
Going north, there are a few shops, but for my time/money if I'm going I'm to take a ride, the best bet is http://www.thequiltplace.com/ in Rockledge (approx 90 minutes straight up I95). HUGE, HUGE, HUGE selection.
There are/were some small shops in Vero/Port St. Lucie but I think they closed (or have really small selections).
Check hours before travelling.
Enjoy!

A bit north of Stuart located on US-1 is a nice little place called Marilou's. She's often got all the 45" fabric on sale. Last week it was $6.50/yd and includes the major brands of quilters cottons and batiks. http://www.marilousquiltingandsewingcenter.com/
There were a couple of places in Vero Beach - the Dragonfly and The Quilted Iris I think are the names. They are both pretty small and I thought hard to find. I haven't been to either of them in over a year...not even sure if they are still in business.
