I just ordered the pattern but not the interfacing. According to my pattern, you will need 16 panels of the printed interfacing for a Queen or 18 for a King.
I thought that info might help someone if they planned to order from the mentioned site.

Yes, sort of. But fusible. The interfacing remains in the quilt.

The beauty is that you can get the sections out of the way relatively quickly, and then spend time designing a really cool setting.

Would Shakespeare consider writing using a computer as cheating?
I've made two Lonestar quilts using the Quiltsmart pattern and they were my third and fourth quilts ever... I think they are wonderful... can't wait to try the New York Beauty pattern!!
There will always be a new and better way to do things.... at least I hope so!!

I've made a couple for store samples. A lone star, and just did the mariner's compass. I just bought the double wedding ring for myself. They also have the foundations for purses, and totes. Go to the Quilt Smart site and you should be able to see everything they have to offer.

it is simply a different technique---it still takes work- there is nothing NEGATIVE about using different techniques---using quilt smart is about the same as using a foundation----or paper piecing----no cheating involved----
i've made quite a few different things using quilt smart interfacing- works just like any paper piecing- but the great thing is it stays in ... no hastle of having to remove your foundation
