Remember the Fat Quarter Bag pattern?
This one that was posted on the board: https://www.shopmartingale.com/image...uarter-bag.pdf
My DGD's cheer squad held a sale this last weekend and I made six of the bags using nice big modern prints, some college football team fabric, and some Vera Bradley like prints. I used all solid fabric, no fat quarters. The bags all sold in the first few hours for $25 each. If you are looking for a great sale table item this bag seems to be a hit.
I entwined ribbon around the handles for the VB look alike and used thick white cotton rope for the college football bag handles. Not much profit considering the quality fabric used but the girls could afford them at that price. I used from my stash and helped DGD to be a star of the sale.

For our guild sale table the bag made with quality fabric, quilted fabric, or specialty fabric, starts at $65 up to $85 if machine embroidery is added. It doesn't take but a couple to sell to make the booth space fee. Of course our time and effort are donated.

I had never seen this bag. It sure looks fast and easy. Thanks for the heads up bellaboo. The silent auction is coming up fast for the diabetic children's golf tournement. Many of the gals have requested bags for the tables.
