Ok. I am working on sashing strips. I have sewed two rows together and have ripped them apart 2x already. I have to do it one more time. I have decide I need to just cut new and not reuse the old sashing strips. I just can't get the rows to match up and down. (Blocks are squared) Is there any hints on how to get the blocks to line up when you sew the rows together?
Getting really Ripped Off......

The last time I had this problem, it turned out my blocks were of two different sizes...a 1/2 inch difference. If you have squared yours, then that isn't the problem.
I guess I have no solution for you, but my thoughts are sure with you. I hate ripping out more than once!!

Cut the strips to a predetermined length before you start - and all the same length. If you are using long strips without cornerstones, put pins at the spots where the corners should line up. If your blocks are square and all the same size, then this should work.

Great! Your question just explained something I have been attempting most of the afternoon. Things went together great and then...grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! So I decided to put everything down and get back to it tomorrow. And I had a great excuse because a pretty nasty thunderstorm came just as I turned the iron off. :)
