Rulers - if I could keep only six of them -
If I could keep only 6 of my rulers, they would be: (all dimensions are in inches)
Olfa frosted 6x24
Olfa frosted 6x12
Quilter's Rule 16.5 square
Omnigrid 8x4 with 1/8 inch grid
Ominigrid 3x18 with 1/8 inch grid
Quilter's Rule 12.5 square - for the size - I intend to replace it with an Olfa frosted - it's handy to make sure that my 12.5 blocks are close to the intended size.
I have three or four Creative Grids rulers - and I actively DISLIKE them because I feel that they are cluttered and confusing to me to use.
My very favorites - of the ones I have - are the Olfa frosted ones. I do wish they made one that was between 14 and 18.5 inches long.
Your lists?

1. Creative Grids Stripology ruler.
2. O'Lipfa Lip Edge Ruler 4"X36"
3. Omnigrid 3"X12"
4. Omnigrid Square ruler 12.5"
5. Creative Grids 8.5" X 24"
6. Clearview 10" 60 degree triangle ruler.
I could get by with just the first 4 rulers. I use the first three rulers 90% of the time.

Wow. And here I want to replace all my rulers with Creative Grids.
Can't see a darn thing with those yellow lines on the Omnigrid rulers.
But if I had to keep 6 rulers it would be
1. 12.5" square
2-3. 6" x 24" (two) Why? my cutting mat cannot fit the 12.5" and the 6"x24" at the same
time but I can butt two 6"x24" together to cut long strips and keep everything square
4. 6" x 12"
5. 6.5" square
6. 12 x 1/2" (great for marking HST's)

My use all the time ruler is the June Tailor 6"x24".
My other frequently used one is the 16-1/2" Quilters Rule Square-Block Lap Board.
I occasionally use the 6-1/2"x24" Quilters Rule, but find it very hard to read.
I also like the Easy Hexagon by Sharon Hultgren.
Would like to have a 12-1/2" square one for convenience.
Would like to find a ruler longer than 24" and wider than 6-1/2" but haven't seen one yet.

I don't think I would be happy with just 6 sizes. Right now I am making these Bible bags using my Omnigrid 3.5" square up which I have seldom have used before. Lot of BQs and Warm Wishes I use the 8.5" Omnigrip square to cut my focus fabrics. I also use my Omnigrip 5.5" & 6.5" square up. I too have the 2.5"x12.5", 4"x14", 6"x14" Omnigrip. When I do cut from folded fabric, that is the only time I pull out the 6.5"x24 Omnigrid. Trimming down the Bible Bags, I am also using my 15" Omnigrid square. I don't have any trouble with the yellow lines.

My 4", 6 1/2", 8 1/2", 12 1/2" squares plus my 6x12" and my 8 1/2x24". They are my go-to rulers.
I really only use two specialty rulers--my hexagon ruler and mt tri recs ruler set....guess that's really three rulers isn't it.
