School Glue for Basting Quilt Layers
#3
I have tried, but the glue wanted to seep into the cotton batting and didn't hold very well... I haven't tried it on the poly blends as you need to heat set it and I didn't want to flatten it out :D:D:D

I have used clue stick pens (they look like a lipstick) to hold pieces for applique but not for basting a quilt together, You would use of lot of clue. Just be careful that it will washes out in water and has no chemicals that may overtime affect the quilt.

I have used the basting spray, but, I don't like the smell and it gets on my glasses and everything else. I might try the school glue on a lap quilt and see how it does. I have used the glue stick when I run a little short on the edge of my quilt top to hold the the batting together till I get it quilted, works great.
