you made a good choice. Innova's were made for one thing. Quilting. I am so glad I got my APQS Lucy, like the Innova you can do most of the maintenance and even repairs if needed yourself. Most people who have APQS never send their machines in for anything unless they are quilting for others and then only after many, many years to basically replace worn out parts. I never had mine worked on in 12 years and neither has my friend who got one after trying mine. I am lucky in the Karen McTavish is the APQS dealer where I am, and she is a fantastic teacher. She has a website where you can see some of her award-winning work. I really think if you really are interested in quilting, you are so much better off by buying a real longarm, and not putting a domestic with all the fancy stitches on a frame.
