Sew Perfect Fairfield Extra Loft Polyester Batting
I bought this batting probably 10 years ago when I was getting back into quilting and was a hand Quilter at the time. I still have it, but quilt on a Longarm and have been using Hobbs 80/20 or like battings since. This is 100% poly. I’m putting together a couple of throw sized quilts to gift to family and wondered if I should/could use this batting and get it off my shelf. I don’t want to waste my time or fabric if this is really a bad choice of batting. Does anyone have experience with this batting? Thanks in advance.

Thank you everyone for your responses! I think I've decided to save the batting for charity quilts as most of the quilts I want to make are of a more modern nature, where I would prefer the flatter look of a cotton batting rather than this high loft look, which I think of for a more traditional style. Alternatively, I can use it for practice machine quilting too, so either way, it won't be wasted .
