I finally got down to making my strip quilt - I had a little iron for ironing the seams and had the cord behind my machine. W-e-l-l, lo and behold somehow that cord got under my needle. What to do? Gratefully the needle went between the cord, and when I lifted the needle it came right out with no problem. Needless to say, I am watching that cord. Scared me to death for a minute.

can't say as I've ever done that, but when my brother was helping me work on my house, I watched him cut the saw's cord along with the wood. I yelled, but the saw was too loud for him to hear me. till it stopped!!!!! so did work for that day.
