snail's trail/rising star pattern
There were two pictures of gorgeous quilts that combined snail's trail and rising star blocks, both set on point, then surrounded by a star border. There was a book open on the table beside the picture. I have been through 2000 archived pictures and 10 pages of main topics. I cannot refind this quilt. I would like to find this pattern.
Thanks for your help.
I can post the picture if that's allowed, but it's not my picture or my quilt. Maybe the author would recognize it?

I think the pattern you're searching for might be Shakespeare in the Park by Judy Martin from her book Creative Patterns book.

or it might be this one?

Both of those are gorgeous and yes, the Shakespeare one looks like it. I knew you guys would know what I was talking about. Again, I hesitate to post the pictures because they are not mine. Not sure what the protocol is on that.

Amazingly (or maybe not so amazingly after all), the Jewel of the Prairie quilt is also by Judy Martin, although it appeared in Fons and Porter Love of Quilting Magazine. http://www.shopfonsandporter.com/pro...digital-issue/
Fay, it's fairly common for someone to copy a picture that they found on this board for the purpose of finding more information about the quilt. The moderators might have more to say on the subject. It's definitely not allowed to post pictures you find on other web sites though.
