Rose_P, you are a genius. I have bought the dog collars to get the hardware parts for other projects, but never thought to buy the leash to get 6 feet of webbing! Thank you for a great idea!

www.allfreesewing.com has lots of free patterns for any size tote bag and purses.I shop at a grocery store here(Aldi's) that does not furnish bags ,so I made my own.when I buy groceries, after i empty them, I fold them and lay them on top of my purse , and they go back in the van,as I do. I had a flannel backed tablecloth that I used to line some of the bags.Makes the bags very strong.

Remembering to take the bags with me was a problem for me too, so now as soon as I empty them I put them back in the truck. Now the only problem I have is remembering to take them in the store with me. At least I have them with me and can pack them as I unload the cart.

Lots of great ideas for bags, thanks. The only bags I have that I don't use are the ones with only 1 handle, they've since gone to the Thrift Shops. A few I've made too big for me to carry if they're full.
