Stippling on Pfaff creative 3.0
I want to use Stippling on my finished quilt but not sure where to start nor how much space I should do at one time.
I do appreciate all the ideas all of you are so willing to share. I haven't been quilting very long so I come to QB for information.

I would try a test sandwich to start. If you have already done that and are ready for your quilt, is the quilt sandwich prepared? Have you basted the 3 layers together for maneuvering it through your machine? I always start free motion quilting in the quilt sandwich about in the middle and work outward. I mentally quarter the quilt and do 1 quarter at a time.
If the top is sashed, I often use my walking foot to stitch in the ditch the straight lines first. Straight lines tend to get distorted while free motion quilting if they are not stitched first. You might want to check out Leah Days quilting site or Amy's site http://www.freemotionquiltingadventures.blogspot.com/ for some tips.
